Worn fringes can lead to serious damage to the end borders of your rug. The tightness on the fringe ends is critical to keep the ends of rugs from fraying and unraveling. Our artisans can repair and re-fringe your rug in one of two ways. We either pull new fringe yarns in replacement of the missing areas, or we add artificial fringes by hand. In either case, extreme care is given to match the original fringe as closely as possible. If the sides of the rug are worn out, we offer Persian binding that will match your original. In this process, we will sew a fabric strip onto the edge of the carpet to prevent unraveling and to protect against wear.
